Frank So first off, the formatting in this is terrible, and makes it hard to read.The author just bolds a lot of the font and increases the size to make their "book" appear longer. They also have an entire chapter which is basically indented half of the page, another trick to make the "book" appear longer. They also fluff the "book" at the beginning and end with thank you for downloading garbage, and they promote other books, which is fine, except it takes up multiple pages.That brings me to my next point: this isn't a book! if you take away all of the garbage, format the "book" properly, you would have maybe 8 pages of information.Is 8 pages worth paying for? Not for me! Now, within those 8 pages, the material is ok. It is not terrible, and not great. Just ok. If the information was 30+ pages of ok material, I would give the book 3-4 stars, but because it is literally less than 10 pages, 2 stars.

Kaizen is all about continuous improvement and there are plenty of resources around suggesting many different ways you can impro By KB Having worked previously in a corporate environment I had heard of Kaizen although I wasn't overly familiar with it, but I was interested to see how a corporate idea could relate to personal use. Kaizen is all about continuous improvement and there are plenty of resources around suggesting many different ways you can improve yourself but I like this book. It explains how you must first set the vision for your life and then gradually work towards achieving it, documenting your progress along the way. There were a couple of bits of terminology that I had to look up elsewhere as they weren't familiar to me and not explained in the book at all. Although both were really easy to find it would have been helpful to have more information provided (TED videos & events and SWOT analysis). Overall a good and useful read

But it takes a decisive heart to fully change not-so good habits and improve one's self. I remembered my former office which promotes Kaizen. We were so resistant but gradually learned to adopt the kind of culture.The book is a supplement to what i previously knew about this topic. Such a great help from tips and tricks. Very powerful. Once you grasped the contents of the book, not just personal changes, so many aspects of your life will improve as well.

It contains step by step instructions as well as all the things one should consider before building one. My mom would always talk about these when I was younger and I believe that may be why I have such an interest in them. I don't plan on building one any time soon, but it is nice to daydream. This book was great for me because I know very little about how to build or live in a shipping container home. I loved this book and it only fueled my fire to one day live in one of these amazing homes. I would recommend this book to anyone curious about container homes or looking to build their own.

During the war Nelson survived mine and torpedo damage, while Rodney played a major part in the destruction of the Bismarck, both surviving to be broken up post-war.

7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. I find these books to be a great bargain and a wonderful and informative read By D. F. Jones I have a number of these books, and all of them are very informative as to the details, evolution, history, and architecture of famous ships. Rodney and Nelson were utterly distinctive with all the main guns mounted forward and everything else pushed aft. Before buying this book, I just thought them an odd design, but after reading the book I understand what the Royal Navy was after with this design. It worked, too! Both ships survived World War II (but not the post-war scrap drives). If you are a ship modeler, or just a fan of the art of miniaturization, the color plates of magnificent models of these ships is worth the price by itself. There is even a buyer's guide to available kits and accessories should you be inspired to build a miniature Rodney or Nelson yourself. Overall, I find these books to be a great bargain and a wonderful and informative read.

About the Author The late James Stewart received his M.S. from Stanford University and his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto. He did research at the University of London and was influenced by the famous mathematician George Polya at Stanford University. Stewart was most recently Professor of Mathematics at McMaster University, and his research field was harmonic analysis. Stewart was the author of a best-selling calculus textbook series published by Cengage Learning, including CALCULUS, CALCULUS: EARLY TRANSCENDENTALS, and CALCULUS: CONCEPTS AND CONTEXTS, as well as a series of precalculus texts.Daniel Clegg received his B.A. in Mathematics from California State University, Fullerton and his M.A. in Mathematics from UCLA. He is currently Associate Professor of Mathematics at Palomar College near San Diego, California. He has assisted James Stewart with various aspects of his calculus texts for more than ten years and is a coauthor of the textbook "Mathematical Excursions" published by Cengage Learning-Brooks/Cole.
