She grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where her parents grew up as neighbors on Humphrey Street.Priscilla Burris graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. By Heidi Grange Humphrey heads home with his classmate Heidi after the girls and boys have an argument about who is braver, boys or girls. He's going to be part of Heidi and her friend's campout. But things get more exciting when they discover Richie and his friends camping out next door and the boys set out to scare the girls. Another cute read with Humphrey once again being the unknown hero. This is a series that I would recommend for young readers who love animals. The combination of cute illustrations and text work perfectly for less advanced readers.

We have read the first 8 in the series and now with these little shorts we can read them in just 2 nights before bed, I imagine my 6 year old daughter will be able read them by herself soon because she is familiar with the characters - which would be the most difficult words to sound out. Humphey's Tiny Tales are a great addition to any home or classroom library. Just beware! Your children are certain to beg for a Golden Hamster of their very own...
