About the Author Hannah Papp was born in Manhattan, learned to walk on Long Island, and then blossomed into womanhood in Toronto. After finishing her undergraduate degree, she attended graduate school at an American accredited university in Budapest, Hungary. It was from this locale—embittered by love and disillusioned by Eastern Europe—that she became a mystical backpacker. Today, she is the author of the popular blog My Secret Psychic Life and the founder and owner of an award-winning business in Washington, DC.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. it is a great book to have and hold on to By Eva Kapitan A most enjoyable adventure to go on with the author Hannah Papp. It is a novel that inspires you and makes you want to grab a backpack and say: "Yes! I'm going to do this." Filled with humour, adventure, finding the meaning of life, seeing the world in a spiritual way and showing us how friendships can be formed lasting a life-time, it is a great book to have and hold on to. I truly enjoyed it and highly recommend others to read it. I learned how one can travel light, with only one backpack, to define the core of your soul by doing so and see the world in a different light. Very well written and filled with pages of insights.
3 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Wonderful guide book for your spiritual journey By Samantha I wish this book was available when I graduated from high school or college. I have had many wonderful travels, journeys and spiritual adventures, and many learning experiences along the way. After reading Hannah Papp's poetic and inspiring book, and doing the excellent and thought provoking exercises, I am ready to adventure forward again, to live life more fully, and hopefully smoother too. I will probably have a daypack or a purse, instead of a backpack, but I will journey with a light heart, engaged in joy, and grateful to Hannah for sharing her story and lessons learned. I encourage all my fellow travelers on their spiritual journey to read this book.

Woods The Mystical Backpacker is officially one of my favorite books. It is a "must read" for anyone who enjoys adventure, creative introspection and thought provoking humor. I have purchased this book 4 times as my friends and family keep "borrowing" my book and won't return it. That's OK. I am happy to share this gem with my favorite people!
