About the Author Elin Criswell is a fourth-generation Texas soapmaker of Swedish descent. I used it with my first venture into making cold process soap four years ago, and still refer to it often. She writes in a way that makes it so easy to understand the process. I often refer to the chapter about soapmaking oils, in which she describes the unique qualities each oil can add to your soap. I highly recommend this book for beginners, as well as those more experienced!!

By Amazon Customer Regardless of your experience level with making soaps, I believe all levels can benefit from this book. It is chock full of recipes and information that is written in a very straightforward, concise, easy to understand manner. I have purchased other soapmaking books in the past, but Creative Soap Making is my "go to" book. Definitely worth the investment!
