It's amazing to note that some of the details mentioned here were not even mentioned in our History class! Very detailed, very insightful, plus with the classic photos too! Excellent book to grab, especially if you need some WW1 facts and trivia.

WWI is Complex - This Book Makes It Easy By Ryan Godsell World War I is a complex topic.Whether you're a historian or just someone interested in learning more about this crucial time in humanity's past, trying to piece together exactly what happened when, why and what the results of it all were can be a serious headache.Fortunately, this book addressed that issue fantastically, breaking down the entire history of WWI into 50 events which are explained in a way which is concise and easy to understand, while still providing all of the important details you need to fully understand the topic. It does a great job of highlighting all of the most significant events of WWI, giving details of exactly what happened and why it mattered so much.As someone who is fairly new to the study of WWI, I found this book an excellent resource and I would definitely recommend it as an essential tool for discovering WWI.5 Stars!

It is not always easy to read because of the wealth of specific information about the geographical locations for the battles, the names of all the different battalions and regiments and their commanders, while giving very little sense of what it must have been like to be there then. But there is no doubt that the author is in total command of the narrative, from start to finish. It is an excellent resource for anyone who wants to learn about the strategies and intricacies of the many battles of World War I. Beautifully illustrated work that provides the reader a walk through the WW1 in all theaters. The Maps and color full pages bring to life the horror and tragedy of the war. I found myself buried in each page for hours. This book is a great addition to your WW1 collection.
